Ki Love Lavu Podcast 01 – Maintaining Healthy Relationships

Building loving relationships has been shown to improve depression, anxiety, and other mental illnesses. Everyone deserves to have good mental health, be supported and loved. For those who are struggling with their mental health, reaching out and seeking help is a sign of tremendous strength – not a weakness.

This podcast is meant to share the positive effects of love on mental health in African culture and provide guidance on how Africans can support their own path towards being intentional about using healthy coping techniques to deal with the daily challenges and stresses of life.

In this episode, The Kahuma’s are teaming up to share tips on how to maintain a meaningful emotional connection with your lover.

All romantic relationships go through ups and downs and they all take work, commitment, and a willingness to adapt and change with your partner. Whether your relationship is just starting out or you’ve been together for years, there are steps you can take to build a healthy relationship. Even if you’ve experienced a lot of failed relationships in the past or have struggled before to rekindle the fires of romance in your current relationship, you can find ways to stay connected, find fulfillment, and enjoy lasting happiness.
