The season is back
In which we give a verdict
About the service of men
To their respective region, country at large
All to be done, in the polling booth
The time has come, to hold them accountable
And second them or oust them
The power lies in our tick or our natural stamp.
We ought to be keen
About pigs and kings
If we must never regret
Ever casting our votes
Let’s be aware
Of honorables who become horribles
To their worst, some turn cannibals
And devour our lives
Together in unison
Let’s desist petty handouts
That come glittering
And leave us shivering
Compromising our vote
Tantamounts self treachery.
To the men of integrity
A people that foster unity
Coupled with equality
And defend our sovereignty
Deserve our votes in quality and quantity.
