The Live-In or Livin’ Weekend

The past few weeks have been pretty lively for Ugandans; swearing-in ceremony with an air force show, alleged corruption scandals involving the former speaker of parliament, cabinet reshuffle and to top it off, ARSENAL FC wining a premier league trophy after a 22-year hiatus…woof, well-in well-in. Nothing short of thrilling and audience cultivating, Netflix subscriptions cancelled thanks to Uganda’s aired drama. Oh, there’s one more thing I forgot;

DANIEL OMARA, EKEESIT, ELLY ODOKI and CONRAD have a stand-up special aligned for y’all. There is quite a lot that really makes this special a special and luckily, there is only one way to prove me wrong and that’s by attending the show itself (ha-ha). The thrill of being in the audience of any live performance or show is unmatched. Whether it’s a concert, stand up comedy show or an exhibition, you get to feel the performance on the hairs of your skin. Well in this case, you get to hear the jokes from the horse’s mouth.

While we are on the topic of live-in performances, there is something unique about Live-in concerts. The chance to see one of your favourite artists perform one of your favourite songs right in front of your eyes or is it to get the feels and thrills that a particular song ignites, manifested by the artist that created them. Either way live-in concerts slap different. IF you’re having any doubt in my words, then I’d recommend you attend the Live-in concert of Uganda’s “Stage goddess” aka KAROLE KASITA. Known for her charged and eye-catching performances, KAROLE KASITA gained much prominence after the release of her hit songs; Gyal a Bubble, Yaka and Balance to mention a few. KAMPALA SERENA HOTEL on the housing bill come 29th May.

So, I wonder if y’all are living or will be at a live-in this weekend. Here is another; he is known for his ghetto style in story telling earning himself the title “THE GHETTO STORY TELLER”, in addition, his lyricist touch to his bars painted a whole different perspective not only in Lugaflow, but also in HIPHOP in the Ugandan music industry. Ladies and Gents; GNL ZAMBA the GHETTO STORY TELLER at the MOJJO MUSIC FEST.

How about a “Live-in” performance of an all you can eat buffet 😉 . Imagine walking into a venue and the major highlight is the food and catchy drinks, well of course, other factors remain constant like good music and ecstatic vibes. Long story short, it’s the best brunch of the town; MOLECULE’s BOTTOMLESS BRUNCH. Good foood, ecstatic music, great drinks, electric vibe and ready to giggle folks come 31st May.

I would prefer a physical interaction (face to face) to digital interaction any day any time and there lies the beauty of human interaction (Live-in performances). You will be in the right mood or zone that the performance intends to put you in, the irony being that whether it’s a good performance or the opposite it will put you right where it wants you to be (abracadabra) he-he.
