The inaugural Authority Book Positioning Masterclass at The Blue Marble Writer’s House

My heart is so full.

On Saturday, 20 June 2026, we held the inaugural Authority Book Positioning Masterclass at The Blue Marble Writer’s House, and I honestly still don’t have all the words for what that meant to me.

For the last couple of weeks, I have been sharing the journey of building The Blue Marble — the lessons, the frustration, the faith, the resilience. What I know now is that every step was preparing me to return to the work I love deeply: helping visionary leaders turn their ideas, experience, and expertise into books, influence, and legacy.

This has been a dream for over 20 years.

Ten years ago, we started our writing classes on the patio of my rented apartment in Bunga. Back then, it was all hope, experimentation, and vision. Over the years, I kept refining the classes and building the dream slowly, brick by brick, with one prayer in my heart: that one day, I would hold these classes in a permanent home of our own.

And on Saturday, that dream came true.

The Blue Marble Writer’s House was built for intimate learning — small sessions, real support, meaningful interaction, and deep work.

My mantra has always been: good food, good people, good writing. Saturday gave us exactly that. A beautiful garden. A warm, thoughtful room. Books everywhere. Lovely conversations. Fresh juice, bread, fruit, yoghurt, and the kind of hospitality that makes people exhale and settle into the experience.

But beyond all that, something bigger happened.

We didn’t just talk about writing books. We talked about positioning, building a strong foundation and being intentional with your message, your brand, and your legacy. Because the books that change industries don’t just happen. They are intentionally positioned.

I was also deeply touched to have both new and returning students in the room. There is nothing as validating as former clients returning to sit under your teaching again. That means more than I can say.

Some of the feedback from the class:

“Wow. Wow. Wow!… With Jackee’s class, I now have a clear idea of where to start and feel confident about starting. Jackee, thank you so so much… It has enlightened me, empowered me and given me confidence.” — Priscilla Mirembe Sseruka

“A light bulb moment… I have all the material to write my next book…” — Jane Okot P’Bitek Langoya

“A very timely masterclass… Excellent tips based on realities and practical experiences.” — Dr Joy Tukahirwa

If you attended, thank you for helping make history.

If you missed it, I won’t lie — you missed something special. Not because it was flashy, but because it was intimate, intentional, and full of possibility.

And I am so grateful. For the journey. For the dream. For the people. For the grace of seeing a 20-year-old vision become real.

If you missed this one, there will be another masterclass on 25 July. I’ll share more soon.
