The Good Don’t Last Long

The good don’t last because we put too much pressure on them, results; high blood pressure and all that.
Every day in their inboxes, how can they last?

The good don’t last!
Because of exhaustion, they end up turning to alcohol and other things, then, of course, blood sugar goes up, etc.
The good don’t last.

Meanwhile, the thieves—women and men who steal using their mouths and other tools also target the good. Can the good really survive in this?
That’s what the proverb says: The good don’t last.

It’s because very few people actually appreciate their goodness.
The good are taken advantage of.
The good are not wished well.
The good are envied.

People plot against the good and create different masks around the good.
Everyone wants a piece of the good.

Even bad people desire good people, but when the good refuse to be influenced by the bad, they get attacked.
The good don’t last.

When the good give others a platform, those others try to outshine them,
or try to become like them.
So how can the good possibly last?

They don’t last.
