Why I invested my severance into completing the Blue Marble Storytellers House

This is not just a building. It’s a statement.

I had just completed a business course where I had designed my 10-year unreasonable goals, when my father passed in 2023.

Everything paused. Business. Dreams. Progress.

For three years, I carried grief and uncertainty. I halted my writing classes and withdrew from public spaces, including social media.

Then 2025 happened. Job loss. Financial anxiety. The temptation to play it safe.

But I chose differently.

I invested my severance into completing the Blue Marble Storytellers House – a space where storytellers gather, ideas flourish, and stories come to life.

People close to me asked: “Why now? Why risk it?”

Because the world needs more spaces where creativity is valued.

Because storytellers deserve a home.

Because my father taught me: build something that lasts.

This February, we open our doors for workshops, events, and collaborations.

Every brick here represents a decision to bet on myself when everything said to play small.

What are you building despite the doubts?—
