After 11 years of building strategic partnerships at USAID, connecting organisations, mobilising resources, and creating impact across Uganda, my journey took an unexpected turn in 2025.
Like many others, I was part of the DOGE Reduction in Force.
The news hit hard. For days, I questioned everything. My identity was tied to that work. My purpose felt uncertain.
But here’s what I learned in those difficult months:
→ Your job title is not your identity
→ Endings create space for new beginnings
→ Your experience is an asset, not a liability
→ The skills that built partnerships can build anything
Today, I’m proud to announce the next chapter:
I’m relaunching Successspark Brand Ltd., combining my partnership expertise with my passion for writing and storytelling.
I’m also opening the Blue Marble Storytellers House – a creative space in Kampala where ideas become reality, storytellers find their voice, and strategic collaborations are born.
I’m here to help:
- Organisations build powerful strategic partnerships
- Authors and thought leaders write and publish their books
- Professionals tell their stories with impact
If you’re working on something that requires strategic thinking, partnership development, or compelling storytelling, let’s talk.
The best chapters are often the ones we don’t plan for.
What’s a challenge that turned into an opportunity for you? Share your story in the comments – I’d love to hear it.
