Reflecting on an Unforgettable Journey to the Boardroom!

“The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is that little extra” – Jimmy Johnson

On January 6th, 2025, I began a defining chapter in my leadership journey—the Journey To The Boardroom program. This rigorous, eye-opening experience fundamentally transformed how I approach governance, decision‑making, and executive leadership. Through intense learning and real‑world application, I gained the frameworks, confidence and strategic mindset needed to navigate leadership challenges with clarity and impact.

The Grand Finale Dinner was nothing short of extraordinary, attended by distinguished leaders including H.E Lisa Chesney, MBE, British High Commissioner to Uganda and Ms. Mulinge Sylvia M.B.S, Chief Executive Officer of MTN Uganda among other esteemed leaders. The insights shared, the connections made, and the lessons learned have left an indelible mark on my professional growth.

And the icing on the cake? My class group, Aliker Inc, won the Multi‑Choice Award!  A testament to our teamwork, dedication, and collective brilliance.

A heartfelt thank you to Janet Navvuga B, the organizers, facilitators, and my amazing peers—this journey wouldn’t have been the same without you. Here’s to stepping into the boardroom with confidence, strategy, and purpose!
