The Ubuntu Rave is a quarterly event curated and powered by KQ.

It’s a celebration of African heritage through Fashion, Film, Music, Dance, and Art. We also have a Pop-up Market where Creative entrepreneurs display and sell African ornaments, jewelry, articles of clothing among other related merch. The Ubuntu Rave started as a pilot project dubbed “Wakanda Party Uganda,” an idea birthed as a result of the inspirational Marvel blockbuster movie, “Black Panther”. Due to mass appeal among the event-goers, it became a mainstay and is headed for its 4th edition.

We bring you an amazing line up of deejays who’ll play an array of genres including but not limited to Afro-beats, Afro-electronic, Gqom, House fusion, percussion, and the goal is to appeal to every reveler’s music taste, a boisterous cultural ensemble with emphatically rhythmic African drum sounds and beats to groove to all night long.

Pop-up African Market: The idea is to bring diversity to the UBUNTU RAVE space whilst celebrating culture and giving African fashion Entrepreneurs who create African or Africa inspired goods a platform to sell and promote their products. Note: As usual, the Dress code is strictly AFRICAN. Free Tribal face painting at Ubuntu Rave venue. The music and drums stop only when the last person leaves the dance-floor.
