In 2010, Martha Nabwire and Niki Tsappos became the first female hip-hop champions of Juste Debout, the world’s largest international street dance competition held in Paris. This biopic portrays Martha’s and Niki’s passion for dance, each other as well as how friendship can be put to the test when going after your dreams. Desire, yearning and finding the right path in life are all topics depicted in the movie which will be screened in the coming week.
The screening is part of the Kampala Dance Week 2019 hosted by Goethe-Zentrum Kampala UGCS. The Embassy of Sweden in Kampala is glad to once again collaborate with Gothe Zentrum Kampala to screen this film.
