#MuwadoLoveLetter22 My First Love

Lovely with glossy chestnut-eyes, almond shaped

Her skin that rare tone of black- unknown

She wept, sounds of pain escaped her lips

tears in her eyes, she held me.

A smile coming to life on her face,

a tear dropped on mine, I blinked.

Expressionless, I cried.

To many, I was just a baby

To her, I was a bundle of joy.

Many years have crawled by,

and I still feel secure when I crawl into her embrace

she was my first love, my only love.
