Yes you read it right, but don’t get it twisted…though, it might be its aura…just saying hehe.

The Ssese run is a 3 day bone relaxing venture that some of you might just need to seal that hectic week you’ve had as we head towards the most festive part of every year. Imagine a cool breeze, a drink and some…Ahemhem!

TALES BY THE FIRE SIDE

Ever wondered what it felt like sitting around a bonfire and listening to folk tales being told by an elder or folk teller. Yes, I’m talking about our great grandfathers’ time.

Well here’s a chance to get a close feel of that at the Bight of Benin restaurant in Nakasero, expect; an African Traditional feel, bonfire and some tasty bites you wouldn’t want to miss.

GULU CITY MARATHON

FUN FACT;

Running helps control one’s blood pressure, lose weight, improves memory and on the plus side you get to sleep better.

If you doubt any of the above, then why not participate in the Gulu Marathon that is geared towards raising the culture and heritage flag high of the Gulu indigenous.

DIGIArT FEST ’24

I used to ask myself when I was little, “What would happen if Uganda had the resources to produce standard comics and animations with African Heritage?”. 20 something years later and the DigiArt Fest ’24 shows up on my screen.

Without a doubt, African creativity and heritage coming together with tech is a must see.

COCKTAILS WUHU WUHU

Here’s something intriguing, 1 or 2 in every 5 ladies (that drink) has a story to tell in regard to their cocktail experiences. Some are wild stories, some-comic, some are “I’ll never drink again” kinda stories Haha.

Jab for jab, Cocktails With Amanya come 8th might have some of these stories coming to life for another lap if you know what I mean 😉
