Twegaite Global’s Maama Kits Project: Empowering Women, Transforming Lives in Busoga

Busoga, Uganda — Twegaite Global, Inc., a leading non-profit organization dedicated to fostering socio-economic transformation, has once again demonstrated its unwavering commitment to community empowerment through the impactful “Maama Kits Project.”

The initiative, aptly titled “Maama Kits with Life,” is designed to provide essential resources to expectant mothers, ensuring safer deliveries and healthier futures for both mothers and their newborns. This week, Twegaite Global joined hands with the vibrant women and communities of Busoga to distribute Maama Kits and offer unwavering support to those in need.

Leadership and Vision

The success of this project is owed to the inspiring leadership within Twegaite Global. Madam Loy Joy Lwabaai, the head of Women and Gender Affairs, spearheaded the donation drive, demonstrating her deep commitment to uplifting women and children. “Our love for women and children and prioritizing gender equality are at the core of our mission,” said Madam Lwabaai.

The organization’s founder and visionary, Monica Namukwana, continues to steer the mission with passion and dedication. Alongside her, Ronald Lwabaayi, Founder and President of Livelihood Development International Initiatives and a board member of Twegaite Global, actively supports these community-transforming efforts. Representing Butembe, Wilson Kirunze, PR for Climate Change Action East Africa, also joined hands to make this initiative a success.

Support and Coordination

A significant portion of the success is attributed to the tireless work of regional and district coordinators who played a vital role in ensuring the seamless execution of the project:
