Are there any career decisions/life choices/failures that were fundamental in making you the person you are now, doing what you are doing now?

I took a leadership course with the Institute for National Transformation (INT Uganda chapter). This course taught me to be a no excuse leader, not to just complain about what is going wrong but to get up and do something.

Is your start-up (or whatever applies here) able to fully support you or do you have side gigs to sustain you as it grows?

My work takes up most of my time. It fully supports me.

Any stories of some of the struggles/sacrifices you’ve had to make to see this dream come to life?

I volunteered at this current job for over a year without pay. I had a degree that could have landed me a job in a financial company, but my passion for healthcare kept me locked at the medical centre.

How do you hope to leverage winning the Vodafone #iCreateTomorrow competition to take your projects to the next level?

One can’t make progress with no support. Vodafone has provided me with connections to people that are knowledgeable in my field and willing to help me navigate my path. I intend to use these connections to achieve the tomorrow I want to see in Uganda’s health sector.
