We Will Always Have the Poor Among us…

“You will always have the poor among you, but you will not always have me”. Matthew 26:11

These pertinent words are attributed to the long awaited (omulindwa) Messiah, King of The Jews (and later the Christians), Jesus The Christ/Jesus Christ.

I have long studied texts attributed to Him including those that are considered “Gnostic” and not included in the Canons that were GIVEN to we “the sheep”. You too may need to read them and hopefully decipher the hidden meanings (ebikusike).

“We will always have the poor among us” is a statement that I have thought about for a long time. Why should we have poor people at all, in the midst of the immense wealth His Master bequeathed the earth?

Being an Animist, I’ve learnt of “Obulongo” (twins); what that statement in Matthew means is, the reverse is true; “we will always have the rich/nobles among us” too.

Consistent sad news makes you numb, to a point of nothingness. Many people do not survive this feeling of “nothingness”.

The day you realise that life ISN’T necessarily what you make it, and that life on earth is more strife than bliss (E Nsi = Ensitaano), is the day it will all painfully make sense.

“Ekijja omanyi kinyaga bitono”.

Animism/nature teaches you that death is victory (rebirth elsewhere); BUT that a life riddled with insanity (running mad, depression, addiction, illness, unbridled greed) is no life at all.

It is considered as one of highest forms of punishment by The Guardians (“okkuteeka mu mpiingo/being put in chains); indeed, it is worse than death.

It is easier to diagnose and remedy physical pain (visible) than emotional and mental pain (invisible).

May The Guardians help you remain sane and sensible through life on earth; may they guard your “ak’obuntu” (humility); keeping you steadfast and alive to the reality that when you CLOSE your eyes, you will SEE clearer, and when you SHUT your ears, you will HEAR a lot more of what needs to be heard.
