Hola,

This is a week of reminiscing about the power of the female gender, from being mothers to every nation, to wives and sisters. A woman may have nothing to offer on the table, but she can multiply whatever the man provides; give her food items and she will give you a meal, give her a house and she will make you a home. All this and she can still walk away if you refuse to give her your social media passwords. 😉

Before you attack me about the latter statement, let’s dive into what this week has to offer to the ladies.

LADIES N CODE

For decades, the male gender has been dominating some sectors such as engineering, truck drivers and ICT as well. Nevertheless, as generations blow by so do the tides of change. WOMEN IN ICT BOOTCAMP is an initiative not only geared towards inspiring more ladies in the ICT realm, but also a way of celebrating and empowering them with new skill sets in the ICT arena. Dear ladies, you wouldn’t want to miss this.

To earn the title Sensei in ancient Asia, you ought to have mastered and emerged the best in a fighting technique to the point of having students come and learn from you and become their mentor. WHAT SHE SAID

Many a times, society has it going round that women never accept when they are wrong, but there is a little known fact that some men also never admit to their female companions when they are wrong and she was right. A lady’s gut always has its suspicions on track, for instance, if she suspects infidelity, 4 out of 5 chances she’s right. What am I blubbing about!

BECAUSE OF HER is a unique exhibition of the skills and talents of extraordinary Ugandan women that stretches for close to a fortnight. Imagine 2 weeks of discovering why they are called MOTHERS OF THE NATION. 😉

STRENGTH OF A WOMAN

Recently, a friend was trying to balance house chores (multi-tasking), and he drastically fumbled every step he took. This is a secret trait that the feminine gender bares. She can cook while doing laundry, go to work and still be a wife to her husband, have multiple skills and talent and still be able to tap into each one of them. Some of the skills and talent may include; poetry, arts and crafts. The ONOMO ARTS EXPERIENCE has something under its sleeves.

MELODIC BLOOM 

Having vocals tuned to air out melodies is a skill that not everyone can embrace. A skill that was originally famous among the ladies, however, these days there are gents that are bringing the competition bringing the heat to the battle of the vocals. VOICES IN BLOOM portrays a perspective of rising voices that you do not hear everyday by some of Uganda’s hidden voice gems.

On a day like WOMEN’S DAY not only should the good be aired out, but also the annoying. When I say annoying I am referring to those nights when she says she’s not hungry and then vividly starts eating your treats. Gentlemen, you get the picture.
