Tree planting at Kasinde chitipa

Today on 20th February,2025  ungweru youth club from northern district of chitipa has argued their fellow youth to protect forests in the district .
This has come after the club organised a tree day planting at kasinde village Traditional authority Mwabulambya
Speaking to the chairperson for the club moses mtambo has emphasised youths to be at a  for front in protecting the vegetation’,am ageing my fellow youth to plant trees in their villages so that they should protect and preserve their land from natural disaster “,mtambo said.
Furthermore he alluded to work hand in hand with any organisation that is willing to protect and preserve natural resources
speaking to chitipa district forestry officer Dan Mbewu has appreciated the initiative brought by Ungweru youth club that it will help their office to achieve their goal”- we have plann of planting one million and two hundred thousand trees within this year ,so coming of ungweru club am very thankful and happy that my office will work with them “,kambewu said.

so far the ungweru youth club has planted three hundred trees of different species.
