Sacred Love Film Review

At the end of the day, most African films have the same problems.

They don’t take time to work that script; the ideas are usually brilliant but somehow, the story is lost in the writing and at times the acting.

So, I watched this film from Rwanda, Sacred Love, (why do we love such titles btw?) but shot in the Netherlands and Somalia (it looks like Somalia).

It’s one of those films on Stream East, new streaming platform for majorly East African content…. Anyway, I got access.

So this film is about a man looking for true love…

Anyway, it’s a film about a man who gets cheated on by the wife and he tries to move on, finds love… Leaves her for no apparent reason and goes back to the wife and then leaves her and finds love again. That’s the true love.

But he finds true love like in five minutes and there’s zero chemistry, connection… But well.

Anyway, still fun watching a film from elsewhere.
