OPPORTUNITY AT HAND

After graduating from Uganda Technical College Bushenyi, I faced a tough job hunt. I started with a training at UEDCL, where I gained practical experience connecting lines and solving faults — lessons that built my foundation in the energy field.

Later, the oil and gas sector gave me hope when companies like Dietsmann and Enviroserve called me for interviews. Even Airtel in the telecom sector noticed my potential, showing me that persistence truly pays off.

Though opportunities were scarce, I kept my faith. And because God is faithful, PSFU Work Readiness Program offered me a chance as a data entrant at Kyagalanyi Companies Limited, giving me valuable exposure and a way to earn a living.

Every step, every setback, and every small victory has strengthened my resolve. I’m still moving forward — one connection at a time — toward my dream of contributing to Uganda’s energy transition by 2040.
