From the list books I read, these have had the greatest impact on me.
1. *The compound effect* by Darren Hardy.
This book helped me cement the habit of running.
2. *The psychology of money* by Morgan Housel.
This one helped me increase my savings. It was also the reason I formed the 50k and 100k investment clubs where we have saved a cumulative sum of over 750m since May.
3. *Influence; the psychology of Persuasion* by Robert B Cialdini.
This book helped me see the world of business marketing differently. Subtle things I used to ignore began to make a lot of sense, some of these I was already doing subconsciously but I am now deliberate about how I apply the principles.
4. *10X is easier than 2X* by Dan Sullivan, Dr. Benjamin Hardy.
This book changed the way I looked at growth and how we tend to think it’s more complicated than it really is, or how we tend to approach it from the wrong angle. Also, just reading this book gave me an idea that made me good money in a short time.
5. *Sapiens; A Brief History of Humankind* by Yuval Noah Harari.
I really don’t want to rate these books, but if I had to, I would rate this one as number one. I feel like reading this book made me smarter…lol. Seriously though, there’s something about reading history and how it helps you make sense of today. This book has that effect of stretching and mapping historical events on a really long timeline and then helps you make sense of these historical events and how they’ve influenced our nature as human beings, which also paints a picture of what the future may look like. The book made me realize how an average person (like myself) knows so little about the world we live in, we don’t really care actually. And yet this knowledge would help us become more self aware and smarter in our approach of how we interact with the world.
