Mazeed Mukhtar Oyeleye (Mazeedulkhayr) is a Nigerian Muslim, nascent writer and budding poet, who hails from Ikorodu in Lagos state where he also lives. He is an undergraduate of Economics at Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto, where he doubles as a campus journalist. He loves reading, writing and playing games.

He was the first runner-up in the Whispering crescent short story contest (2020).

He believes that pen-mastery can help reform the world if harnessed objectively.
