The routes will be explained on the day of the photowalk.

Guidelines and tips:(please do well to go through this)

  • There is no dress code, but please wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather – bring a hat, sunscreen, or a light jacket depending on the forecast.
  • Bring a reusable water bottle to stay hydrated during the walk.
  • Keep to the agreed meeting points and times so the group stays together.
  • Be mindful not to block sidewalks or disrupt traffic when taking photos.
  • If you’re photographing vendors or private property, ask for permission first.
  • Carry a small bag to keep your belongings secure and hands-free for photography.
  • Share your shots with the world afterwards — it’s a great way to inspire each other!

We shall be hosting the photo essays that come out of this exercise, so if you don’t already have a Muwado account, create one and upload your 10 best photos for the world to see. Add the tag #KampalaPhotoWalk to your posts and then leave a comment below with a link to your submission.

We look forward to capturing Kampala’s beauty with you!
