If Only Money Could Buy Great Leadership & Not Just Pay for Votes.

PLO Lumumba once said, “The paradox of African elections is that those with good ideas have no money or power, and those with money and power have no ideas, the worst part of it all is that the voters are inclined to the latter, the ones with money but no ideas”. He echoes my thoughts exactly.

For all the money that is going to be spent in the elections to buy votes, I pray it could also buy us real visionary servant leaders, not just opportunistic politicians seeking employment, but that is just wishful thinking on my part.

From my travels across this country, I have observed that our greatest need is not more aid or government intervention, but leaders who keep their word and are committed to their work. What we need more than anything are leaders who would put their community welfare before their stomachs satisfaction, leaders who will pride in the raising of their nation more than raising gurgantuous mansions. We need leaders who value contribution above comfort, and that is the problem right there.

Most of the real potential leaders won’t risk their comfort for the uncertainty and myopia that drives the voters to elect fraudsters who will dangle a few notes of currency before their eyes blinded by hunger and fear while at the same time swindling their Inheritance. What if I told you that it is our blood and sweat that will buy our children’s future, would you be willing to pay that price?

While not everyone should get into politics, we can’t ignore the dire need for leadership that stares us squarely in the face. You don’t need a title or office to be a leader. If you are a leader, influence change and catalyze growth from where you are.

For my part, I am not a politician, I am a Thinker, an Innovator, a Teacher, and Entrepreneur. As a leader of leaders, my contribution to my generation is wisdom shared and opportunity created through social enterprise. I am willing to counsel those leaders who really are driven by a desire to improve the lives of Ugandans. I have reached out to the Bobi Wine Camp and I am available to help Mr Museveni secure his legacy.

I ask myself, how can the Ugandan slum dweller benefit from the immense wealth that is Uganda’s repository, Uganda belongs to us all not just a few people who own the hills of grandeur while the rest languish in the valleys of despair.

With all this water we have how can we replenish our environment while filling up our food stores and ensure no one in Uganda goes hungry…

There surely has to be more, in those mounds of waste gnut husks is potential energy. How do we make that leap?

My work is a national duty that I will traverse this country to achieve…

From Agago, to Mparo, Kapchorwa to Arua, Uganda is such a beautiful country vastly blessed yet languishing in poverty and destitution, this is not normal.

My visit to Nytil to negotiate adopting S6 candidates fabric designs to create locally made African Fabric…

I have had countless engagements with ministers in government and will continue to have these conversations about how to practically solve Ugandans problems, which are simple to solve if we start with fixing the way we think about ourselves and our country as Ugandans.

There is enough land to feed everyone, why should there be hunger and people begging the government for food?

Education has been watered down immensely. There are many who have studied in Uganda and can speak some English but their minds and hands are stuck in a rut of ineptitude. I believe Education Is Not The ‘Key’ Applied lessons and useful information that empowers the learner is what will lift us from this funk that is a mostly useless education.

Let the real learning begin, and let the minds of the next generation be opened to more useful lessons that will give them relevance in their community.

This is my answer to the Food and Agricultural conundrum…

This is where Helen’s Garden comes in, with the mission to Invest in the Improvement of the food experience and journey from the garden to the table, while building up people, conserving the environment and unlocking opportunities for all along the way.

#TheSolutionInc, this is my answer to the knowledge and Skills Training gap in our country, we exist to Enlighten, Empower and Equip the Heads, Hearts and Hands of young leaders to act on their potential and achieve their capacity.

This is my way of changing the status quo of my nation’s generation. Enlightening, Empowering, and Equipping one mind at a time, compelled by love, I do all this,

For God and My Country.
