I STILL BELIEVE

Have you watched this inspirational movie ā€˜I still believe’? Oh, you definitely need to look for it. Anyhow, I connect this movie to so many things we Christians hold onto like hope, which I wrote about in my last blog, courage, and trust in the unknown, and, above all, FAITH.

This movie literally flashed my life in front of me. For the many times I have doubted myself, for the many times I have felt weary and tired but the little faith in my heart keeps me going.

Recently a friend posted on her status how she still marvels at how the woman who had been bleeding for twelve years in Matthew 9:20 got the courage to touch Jesus’ cloak believing it will heal her. How how did she even think of it? I totally need this kind of faith and it is my prayer that I get there.

God loves us and he will never leave nor forsake us

ā€œI have learnt that suffering doesn’t destroy faith, it redefines it. And God is worth trusting, even when we can’t seeā€ Melissa
