HOW AM I ABLE TO WRITE PROLIFICALLY AND CONSISTENTLY?

First, God gave me Knowledge, wisdom, understanding and insights, as well as the gift of writing and making sure that I do so prolifically without fear or favour with God himself as my enduring protector.

Second, God has assured me of a life full of health, peace, strength and energy despite my advanced age, and I have deployed them in writing, knowing that what I write is for the present generation but more for the future generations.

Third, I have lived longer than I will ever live; therefore, I realized God created me for others, not for myself, and that what he gave me must be left for humanity to benefit from long after I have breathed my last.

Fourth very early God showed me the way to publishers of my works. Most knowledge workers may want to write but find it difficult to find publishers.

Fifth, I don’t write in discipline but across disciplines; therefore, I am freer to think and reason in my writings outside the box, beyond disciplinary boundaries.

Sixth, for me writing is a hobby, not a compulsion.

Seventh, as I used to tell you as a student, time is the most critical resource but the most abused. I knew I had little time left for me after retirement from public service. I knew it was the most critical resource left to me, not money or properties which would mean nothing to humanity after I have gone. I withdrew from time-wasting activities, including some interactions, and invested most of the time I had thinking critically, reasoning coherently and putting most of my thoughts and meditations in the form of articles.

Eighth, humility has been an important resource for me that I have wanted to share with all humanity, and writing was a ready recourse for me to exploit.

Ninth I knew one cannot write one’s thoughts and meditate publicly unless one hates fear,  loves courage, and recognizes that one is not here on earth forever.

Tenth, I realized that I could not be a prolific knowledge producer unless I kept close to God and to my family. My Bible and even the Quran are close to me to constantly gain wisdom from. Although all members of my family have weaned themselves from my wife and myself, as it should be by the command of God, I am in touch with each of them every day and continuously. Besides, my wife has been a good support for the last 45 years. Consequently, I have enjoyed emotional and psychological stability and maximum peace, which I have deployed in writing, with an open mind and healthy faculties.

Eleventh, since settling in my village, Nawaka, in 2015, and from which I had been absent for 40 years, I have kept myself beyond conflict.

Twelveth, I established an enabling physical environment by planting trees. My home is endowed with abundant oxygen to power my body organs.

13th I try as hard as possible to live the Ancient Greek adage: Healthy Body, Healthy Spirit, Healthy Mind.
