When I close my eyes, vulnerability seeps in,

In slumber, a restless heart, a soul’s hollow din.

Your absence a void, a haunting refrain,

Do friends exist to soothe this unseen pain?
As dawn breaks, thoughts of you invade my mind,

Through the day, your presence, a bind.

Enchanted by your essence, bewitched, it seems,

Were things different when you filled my dreams?
Once a believer in fairytales, now unsure,

For those involved, the magic obscure.

Perhaps friends craft the fairytales we chase,

Unveiling enchantment in their embrace.
Trust me, dear, our story a tale to behold,

On stage, a spectacle, hearts unfold.

Joy bearer, I cherish you above,

Silent confidante, in you, I trust and love.
Through joys and sorrows, you’ve stood by me,

In your love, I find solace and glee.

Words fall short, a song I inscribe,

Grateful for the fairytale you imbibe.
With you, love flows effortlessly,

Laughter, a daily latte, so carefree.

Peace, our daily sustenance, our thread,

In friendship’s embrace, a fairytale is spread.
A fairytale, you ask? It’s sweet and pure,

Moments shared, embarrassing, yet endure.
