The locusts have come
To save The State
From the overdose
Of political protest.
The locusts will drive
Batons and teargas
Into the backside
Of our human rights.
The locusts will invade
Any human shed
And eat off heads
Disturbing The State.
The locusts will be fed
The vegetable sauce
Of our politics
That we have become.
The locusts will remain
Hungry and angry
Thirsty and busty
Beating and biting.
The locusts will save
The state of the Head
Of the Head of State
The headache of protest!
