Muslim clerics ‘killer suspects’ in court today

32 suspects including Sheikh Yunus Kamoga, the Tabliq Muslim sect Amir (leader) are today expected to appear before court to proceed with their charges.

The suspects, who have been on remand at Luzira upper prison, are battling serious charges ranging from murder, attempted murder, terrorism and crimes against humanity.

These 32 are suspected to have masterminded the killings of Muslim clerics including Sheik Hassan Kirya, Sheik Mustafah Mahiga and attempted to cause the death of Sheik Haruna Jjemba.
